Kickball For A Cause

The time is near folks.....That's right...time to bust out your costumes and suit up for the 2nd Annual Kickball For A Cause!

This year we will be raising money for Jade Shaklee (Ky's brother) who was diagnosed with brain cancer in May. Jade has undergone brain surgery and is now on the road to recovery. We are not expecting to pay for Jade's brain surgery. However, every little bit helps. Last year we raised almost $1,000 for Janie Saurette who had breast cancer. The money went towards helping Janie pay bills since the cancer kept her out of commission for quite some time. She is doing amazingly well and I know that our motivation, prayers and spirit helped in her healing process.

We had such a great response last year, for it being our first year, that we decided that we are going to make it a yearly tradition!

Thanks to everyone that participated last year and helped make it such a success!!!! You're "Aces" kids!!!

When: Dec. 9, 2007
Where: North Boulder Park (ballfields)
What to bring: $10 per person (we will also be taking donations) water, snacks, alcohol (if desired)
What to wear: Dress up in a funny costume

Each team needs a team captain. They will be in charge of getting the team together, picking a team name and costumes and rounding up the money for the entry fee that will be due that Sunday morning before the tournament begins.
