Dinner at Sid's, El Reno last night with Sid cooking our burgers like on the tv show 'Man vs. Food". AWESOME!

One of the best burgers I have had in YEARS!!!  simply put, Delicious! and we only had the onion burger and one order of fries.... without his world famous Coney Island Hot Dog  with their super chili and relish, which they did fix us a sample of and yelp... it is awesome too.  We will be back!

Sid's dad started and owned the place before he did. I think there are about 12 stools and 4 tables and the grill was NEVER empty while we were there and he took time to learn our names, shake our hands, and then do it again calling us by name when we left! We felt like rock stars, haha...  never happens in our town of Stillwater. Customers in most eating places in Stillwater are an inconvenience to the staff and the owner or manager hardly ever takes time to do more than say hi and ask if all is ok... Sid took time to learn our names in amongst a packed house and never stopping his fixing of his famous burgers... now that is a business owner who cares about what he does and how he does it, not just the dollars ....

Thank you Sid!

Went to El Reno - OK Vintage Guitars Summer Concert Series - last night to watch Mrs. Moffat's baby boy Jake open for Sarah Jaffee...

What a great show it was. Jake was joined on stage by Kevin "kevmo" Miller of OKC and Poncho Cochran  from Dallas and preformed from a set list of well chosen songs and from the sounds of his voice and dynamics of the show... Jake is back, bigger than life! For his Mom and I, we were in heaven. It was a show we thought we might 'never' see. After watching him preform for years, nothing equaled the show last night. He was clean and sober and it was indeed a show by someone who knew their music and loved doing it. And the help he received from KevMo and Poncho was truly wonderful. Poncho, - KevMo, - WOW! The hour flew by! Our son or not, Jake Moffat is back, and he will be a force in the music business for years to come!
Love ya Jake and love and are proud of the man you have become! It's been a long road, and it is one day, or moment at a time, but with God's help, and the support you have, and the choices you are making, you are back and headed only upwards!
