Had a wonderful birthday tonight.. few days early but it was very welcome just the same!!

What a wonderful treat to have family around you when you get my age!! How fortunate we are to be able to see them and have them drop by. wow....

I worked today and arrived home a few minutes before Heather and Madison and Andrew stopped in. Found Ann making homemade spaghetti sauce and spaghetti, and really cool salad, french toast, ummmm good..... then Trisha and Isabella suck in the back door... and it was on... haha... the three kiddos were hard at it... and then Paul stopped by on his way home from work, (he was worn out from working so hard this long long week and he still has another day to go, but I am really glad he stopped by, as I know if I were him, bed would and might have come first!) and after a bit, Phillip and Tammy and Austyn stopped in and we all have a wonderful time and visit and dinner together. the kiddos had a blast, and we adults got to visit, too...  I had a wonderful dinner... got to blow out my birthday cup cakes with kiddos... (I bet Phillip has photos of this on his blog later...? pmoffat.com/blog), and had the birthday song sung to me, and afterward, Madison did a Birthday Cheer for me with her Cheerleader outfit and pompoms, I think they are called.. sigh.. age deal I guess..

Many thanks to everyone for the wonderful gifts and the precious gift of all, your presence to help me celebrate! ( I rec'd a fantastic photo of an old memory from my past... I was 13 and up when I used the place photo'd... and a neat collage, and some great cards, barbecue sauce, and whiskey bread (not to break a tradition of wrong name for bread!), and playdo cutouts for my office, and the book "Fresh bold piece of humanity" by ORielly...
thanks again to everyone!!!
