| Message: | If you are like me, your AT&T cell phone has poor service in and around the downtown Perkins area and between Perkins and Stillwater. This has not always been the case, but since the time that AT&T traded or sold its local tower on the school property to Alltel/Verizon, service levels have decreased dramatically. If you want to help this situation without having to leave AT&T, here's what to do: Call 1-888-892-9760, select Option 2. This will connect you directly to the AT&T Technial Support team in Austin, Texas. Just tell them you would like to report lack of service issues in the Perkins, OK area. I have had very good experience talking with these people about my problem. They do seem to care about the lack of service here, but they told me that I was the only one who had actually reported any trouble. If they receive multiple reports of trouble, we have a better chance of getting a new tower in our area. |
