This and that....
three things close to my heart besides my lovely bride.... and family.....
music and food... haha... you would never know it about either one... heheh..
first....
Ann and I dined at Carls, Jr. last evening.. FOOD WAS AWESOME!! bigger than the ads and every bit as juicy and fresh.... I am serious - could be the best burgers in Stillwater....
and now.. music...
Jake now has three cds online with itunes and napster and rhapsody... one can buy his music or listen to the album streaming on Rhapsody.com. He gets compensated for each spin that streams as well as sells... kind of cool... I think there might be a new album in the works from him too.. but more on that later...
Our first artist, Nick Gibson, is now playing to full houses... and getting lots of radio play in 6 states... so our companies - Flatland Entertainment and Tough Records - are very excited for him... We have also had some majors looking... We are hoping for the best... and I encouraged him to get started on his next CD! He has met with Garth Brooks .. so who knows... he is a wonderful guitarist and entertainer and really rocks the house with his show and band! Fun and exciting are the reports back to us.. so keep fingers crossed... We are working with several other artists and not sure what might develop. Presently we have 14 different projects underway in our Flatland Studio... it has taken us three years this summer to get it to this point, and we are proud of that as well.
and Family.... and just in case one thinks I forgot...
about the new addition... I didn't... haha...
Jake and Trisha ... our fab twosome... will become three next week. Dr. is to put her in hospital this coming Monday evening... and start Isabella on her way into the real world to meet her parents... and big family.... so in a few days... Isabella will rock our world.... stay tuned... says a smiling Grandpa and Grandma Moffat!!!
Also, there will be a home warming coming up.... probably not the correct term, but it will do... Jonathan and Randi and kiddos will be moving into their new home.... how bout them apples! They are house hunting at present, and we are very excited for them as they continue on their path through life. Homeowners! How cool.
But then Ann and I are very proud of all each of our kiddos and family have accomplished! If you could see our family from our vantage point.. and knew Ann and I back when.... what an awesome path we have been down... and with more to go, it is getting more exciting every day!!
