Ms. Madison was not.. haha.. she gave Mom and Dad a bit of.. haha.. oh well, truly everyone was good, even yours truly.. haha... yeah, right...

Great Grandma and Mk were on their best behavior too....

Then it was time to celebrate ...

We all got together to celebrate Tammy's birthday which was Jan. 15th. We could not do it then due to weather and knew it was going to get bad again this weekend, so we hurriedly planned and did it last evening... All made it except Jake's and Jon's. Nice time had by all and we ate to our hearts content. We all saw old friends we got to visit with some too... including the Roger Jenning's family, all four of them. He was and is Ag teacher for the Perkins-Tryon schools so they are all close friends. Tammy got some neat gifts, Grandma Ann left ours home so they stopped by and we visited for a bit afterward. They had ran to the new Country Club Super Center that opened yesterday in Stillwater.

then she was OFF!

this ended up being a longer and faster run...

yes, she missed the 'cow pies', but the tree was getting closer....

Then we put out big tubs of feed for the cows and just happened to find a hard piece of cardboard... and Grandma Ann tried it out.. haha...

in the middle is a Tom and hen walking off, the others had flown off...

when we headed out once from Great Grandma's, there were over 20 BIG wild turkeys eating spilt feed off the gound around our neighbors feed troughs..

warmed up some and the ice was getting ready to come off the roof... and the streaks in the sky

almost done... got to hurry before she catches me....

But man, she could fly...

She started off on a feed sack, but found that was not to lasting, nor really fast enough...

Oh, did I mention Ann was with me...

yelp... Grandma Ann proved that at 60, life can still be exciting... and full of adventures, especially if you are riding with me feeding the stock!

the replacement heifers were gathered round the bale in the back of their pen...

the clouds went every which way, and there was all types of them...

I know, i know, but I had to try.. it was breathtaking!

What a beautiful day it was yesterday

the sun was trying to come out, the white snow was still white, but brighter when sun broke through, and then with the approaching storm, the sky was various blues... and sometimes it was totally blinding and AWESOME!

When you have a "I hate My Job" day, try this. On your way home from work, stop at your pharmacy and go to the thermometer section and purchase a rectal thermometer made by Johnson & Johnson. Be very sure you get this brand.
When you get home, lock your doors, draw the curtains and disconnect the phone so you will not be disturbed. Change into very comfortable clothing and sit in your favorite chair.
