Ann taught me....
To look at things ... out of the box... to not see things as a farmer, but to see them as works of beauty... I saw the arch... I saw the sellar ole man standing guard, the strenght of the combweb in the middle ... and the joy of the combination.... so bare with me.. I get finger happy when shooting photos.. and the joy of seeing what I took... well, it's almost like having kids... the joy and excitement of finding something in each shot... haha.. geeze... am I on it today.. .haha.. sorry... moving on....
rollers, doing their thang.....
Ann has 8 Rollers...
there are 5 of them rolling in this photo... various stages and three that were just flying .... can you find which ones were doing what???

If you look right in the middle of the photo....
you see a dark object... it's another swipe from the birds ... on their second pass by me.... I thought they had left the country... but no.. they came around and did it again.... haha...
As I was shooting them I decided to take another shot of the sunflowers, when...
Much to my surprise, I was buzzed by the birds. As I work these photos now, I can see .. way in the back what I missed when I crouched down to take this shot.. the birds are lining up to buzz right by me at eye level... and man did they do it and just about knocked me off my feet. I don't know if they were surprised, but I sure was!!!
some of these photos are cool when you click on them and make them big.....
Especially if you understand how hard it is to take action shots and then add to that the age thingy.... haha... and lack of knowledge... but here's the deal with this photo... I was taking photos of the sunflowers below when I heard this noise and did not know that Ann had turned out the roller pigeons... and I sure did not know what a treat I was in for...
