Madison and I let the pigeons out, and she was telling me I needed to back in and let out the last two.. but they were babies and we don't let them out, and she thought maybe Grandpa was wrong.. haha.. imagine that!

Madison and I went for a walk and let Grandma's roller pigeons and they flew and flew.. they actually looks like they have been shot.. and free fall and tumble as they fall.. here is shot of one actually upside down falling...

Kaitlyn and Madison were waiting for the rocker to do his thing, and Kaitlyn played and played with these chairs... while if you will look, you will see Madison doing what she does almost all the time.. eating... haha.

Some times ya just gotta rock!! Austyn annouced over the last week that he has a rock band, and there are four members. He plays acoustic guitar and electric guitar and is the inspiration for the band! He was letting everyone know they would be practicing at Grandpa's recording studio every other Saturday.

Jake and Trisha, Christmas Day, 2006. They will be wed in May of this coming new year! Just wanted ya to know... Hope everyone's Christmas was as awesome as our's was! We had all the family together at one time... wow, how cool was that? Thanks to everyone... Jake and Trisha, Paul, Heather, Andrew and Madison, Jonathan, Randi, Kaityln and Dylan, Phil, Tammy and Austyn, Great Grandma Elinore, Sis Marilyn, David, Terry and Ky, and Mike. We had a great day. Started off with a phone call from Cousin Doris, which got us all in the mood, and Ward and Melanie called after lunch, so in a way, Ann had all her family together too... Awesome day! Thanks again to everyone for everything!

Merry Christmas Everyone!!

A view of the water 'spring' east of our home taken during the 'snow storm' of '06! I walked around the next morning and was held in awe by the wonders of God's work overnight!
This spring watered many horses and cattle that were driven up from TX and who knows what else. There was an old timer who knew the family that lived here and knew of the old livery stable that was here ... the old rock foundation is still located just above the spring. It is on an intersection of roads and was known to all as a free source of water north of the 'salty river' about 6 miles south.
