Uncle Ivan...

Heard that he has had a couple of "thingys" removed from his colon and now has one left and it is at the top... so means a bit of surgery. more later....

Bit of very sad news today....

Mom called and informed me that Uncle John Moffat died today. He went to sleep last night and did not wake up when he was asked to do so for breakfast. He will be missed.

Ann, Jake, Heather and Andrew are in OKC this am. Andrew is having a checkup with his doctors there regarding his allergies, ears, etc.
And Jake and I all voted by absentee ballot this go round. Did not know where we would be or what we would be doing, but we wanted our votes counted.
We received over 3 inches of rain in about an hour and half last evening. WOW! What a deal!!! No storm damage, but what a rain.
It's a bit cooler, but not winter weather yet, maybe in a week or so. Jake can not wait!
All I know for now... enjoy the day!!

Today....

Jonathan and Randi are heading to the Doctor's for Randi's checkup. All is going well, Kaitlyn is sleeping about 3 to 4 hours between feedings, so they are happy too!! Randi and Kaitlyn spent the day with Jon at work yesterday, and Jon reported that was truly awesome! He is soooo bubblie..... and truly happy. He will make a great dad and Randi a wonderful mom!! How lucky Kaitlyn is to have two parents who love her so very much!
Can't wait till we see then again... hopefully, this weekend. love to all, enjoy the day!!!

They sounded very tired as not only did they have a baby Csection, and wait a bit to do it, but had family there all the time, not much time for them to let their hair down and let it all soak in! But as time goes on, it will hit! They are DAD and MOM now and forever!! May the wind always blow from their backs, and may God bless them and guide them to a glorious end for all!
