see our home and Jake and Trisha's home on the other side of this wheat field...

The wheat here is left over from harvest last season that did not get combined due to all the rain... lots of wheat, lots of pasture.. shame it is of no value..

We will soon finish our four mile walk..

The fields look like they were planted in wheat, but it is the wheat that is coming up from last harvest that was not combined due to all the rain...

see our home and Jake and Trisha's home way on the other side.. we will soon be there.. finishing our four mile walk...

now when we get to the north end we walk out on 68TH and head west to the first road from the south.

this makes up for any thing missed in walking for 2 1/2 miles now...

The pair went straight to work, surrounding me... and honking up a storm...

And now we are heading North... across the pond.. on the other side, you will have to be careful, or you will get your feet wet or muddy...

As we now head north.. a buzzard has taken flight.. don't worry, I told him he could not eat me yet... haha...

in the middle way back in the trees is my west point for turn around... you have now walked about 2 miles...

I touch the post top on the right side of this line fence gate... still heading west...

All must be well, as he is gliding to his female waiting on the wheat for him...

I guess all is well as he passed on by... heading for his goose...

As I head west.. I am spotted by a reconisance flight...

over the last three mornings.. I have become a problem to some geese... they now send up one to check me and dogs out... this was the first fly by....

just west of the corner we have to walk through tall dead grass.. to the mowed area....

I touch the top of the post at each turn or mid way point to keep myself honest... and this is the corner post at the mid way point headed west...

I can remember sitting this with my father a very long time ago... over the years the cows ... rounding the corner and water coming from up on the land .. took the dirt away... The post looks as worn as I do .. right.. haha..
