Did not see this, but wished I had... I AM AN INSTANT FAN!!

weather.. especially this Wednesday.. from NWS, Norman.

The active weather pattern will continue at least into Thursday as a series of storm systems bring the threat of severe weather to much of Oklahoma and western north Texas. We'll be dealing with two different types of severe weather events on Tuesday and Wednesday:

TUESDAY
There will be two opportunities for severe weather on Tuesday, both relatively low confidence and low impact events. The first would be early in the day associated with a complex of storms that could form late tonight and move southeast, possibly bringing marginal severe weather to western parts of our area. The second chance would be late afternoon/evening with storms that are expected to develop in the Texas panhandle. Some of these storms could impact western Oklahoma and parts of western north Texas Tuesday evening

WEDNESDAY
Wednesday is shaping up to be another potentially significant severe weather day across much of our area. Current forecasts call for supercell ingredients to come together Wednesday afternoon and evening, bringing the threat for tornadoes and damaging hail. The western half of Oklahoma and much of western north Texas would be most at risk for significant severe weather, but the threat areas will move and change as we get closer to the event.

While the precise location, timing and impacts are not yet clear, I would encourage you to prepare for a significant severe weather event during the afternoon and evening on Wednesday. This would include many of the areas impacted by last week's tornadoes and Sunday's hail storm.

Metal legend Ronnie James Dio dead at 67

By Wayne Parry, Associated Press Writer
Ronnie James Dio, whose soaring vocals, poetic lyrics and mythic tales
of a never-ending struggle between good and evil broke new ground in
heavy metal, died Sunday, according to a statement from his wife and
manager. He was 67.
Dio revealed last summer that he was suffering from stomach cancer
shortly after wrapping up a tour in Atlantic City, N.J. with the
latest incarnation of Black Sabbath, under the name Heaven And Hell.
"Today my heart is broken," Wendy Dio wrote on the singer's site,
adding he died at 7:45 a.m. "Many, many friends and family were able
to say their private goodbyes before he peacefully passed away.
"Ronnie knew how much he was loved by all," Wendy Dio continued. "We
so appreciate the love and support that you have all given us ...
Please know he loved you all and his music will live on forever."
The statement was confirmed by Los Angeles publicist Maureen O'Connor.
Though he had recently undergone his seventh chemotherapy treatment,
he was hopeful to perform again. Earlier this month, the band Heaven
And Hell canceled its summer tour, but Dio did not view being
sidelined as a permanent thing.
"Wendy, my doctors and I have worked so hard to make it happen for all
of you, the ones we care so much about, that this setback could be
devastating, but we will not let it be," he said in a statement. "With
your continued love and support, we ... will carry on and thrive.
There will be other tours, more music, more life and much more magic."
Dio rose to fame in 1975 as the first lead singer of Rainbow, the
heavy metal band put together by guitarist Ritchie Blackmore, who had
just quit Deep Purple.
Dio then replaced legendary vocalist Ozzy Osbourne in Black Sabbath in
1980 with the critically acclaimed album Heaven And Hell, considered
by many critics to be one of the finest heavy metal albums of all
time. His on-again, off-again tenure with Black Sabbath touched off an
intense debate among fans as to which singer was the true essence of
the band — a discussion that lasted until his death.
He also enjoyed a successful solo career with his self-titled band,
Dio, in between his three stints with Black Sabbath (1980-82; 1992;
and 2007-2009, when the band toured as Heaven And Hell, to
differentiate it from Osbourne-led versions of Sabbath).
Many of his most memorable songs revolved around the struggle between
good and evil, including his signature tune Heaven And Hell. He also
drew heavily on medieval imagery in songs like Neon Knights,Killing
The Dragon and Stargazer.
"He possessed one of the greatest voices in all of heavy metal, and
had a heart to match it," said Twisted Sister guitarist Jay Jay
French, whose band toured with Dio since 1983, and was to do so again
this summer at European rock festivals. "He was the nicest, classiest
person you would ever want to meet."
Dio organized an all-star charity collaboration in 1986 called Hear N'
Aid to raise money for famine relief in Africa, styled on the
successful We Are The World campaign of a few years earlier.
His solo hits included Rainbow In The Dark,The Last In Line and Holy Diver.

Ann and I watching the storms last night learned of a place in Oklahoma that we had not heard of ... Dead Woman's Crossing.. the storms were headed for... here is the story and much more online... neat story! sad ending!

U.S. posts 19th straight monthly budget deficit (16 months under obama as Pres and chief idiot...)18 since his election!

(Reuters) - The United States posted an $82.69 billion deficit in April, nearly four times the $20.91 billion shortfall registered in April 2009 and the largest on record for that month, the Treasury Department said on Wednesday.
It was more than twice the $40-billion deficit that Wall Street economists surveyed by Reuters had forecast and was striking since April marks the filing deadline for individual income taxes that are the main source of government revenue.
Department officials said that in prior years, there was a surplus during April in 43 out of the past 56 years.
The government has now posted 19 consecutive monthly budget deficits, the longest string of shortfalls on record.
For the first seven months of fiscal 2010, which ends September 30, the cumulative budget deficit totals $799.68 billion, down slightly from $802.3 billion in the comparable period of fiscal 2009.
Outlays during April rose to $327.96 billion from $218.75 billion in March and were up from $287.11 billion in April 2009. It was a record level of outlays for an April.
Department officials noted there were five Fridays in April this year, which helped account for higher outlays since most tax refunds are issued on that day.
But for the first seven months of the fiscal year, outlays fell to $1.99 trillion from $2.06 trillion in the comparable period of fiscal 2009, partly because of repayments by banks of bailout funds they received during the financial crisis.
Receipts in April -- mostly from income taxes -- were $245.27 billion, up from $153.36 billion in March but lower than the $266.21 billion taken in during April 2009.
Receipts from individuals, who faced an April 15 filing deadline for paying 2009 taxes, fell to $107.31 billion from $137.67 billion in April 2009.
The U.S. full-year deficit this year is projected at $1.5 trillion on top of a $1.4 trillion shortfall last year.
White House budget director Peter Orszag told Reuters Insider in an interview on Wednesday that the United States must tackle its deficits quickly to avoid the kind of debt crisis that hit Greece
