Sunday morning coming down

Yes, Jake really did perform at Okeene Music Festival Saturday. Photo by Phillip Moffat! thanks for sharing

this is a sight for sore eyes....  if you were to ask us 6 months ago where we would go to see Jake, it would not have been this event, more like a plot of land in a cemetery with a head stone to remember him by... now 6 months clean and sober.... he is coming back with are roar...  and it's one day at a time, but those days are oh so special...   Keep it up Jake! one day, one hour... at a time.

Dinner at Sid's, El Reno last night with Sid cooking our burgers like on the tv show 'Man vs. Food". AWESOME!

One of the best burgers I have had in YEARS!!!  simply put, Delicious! and we only had the onion burger and one order of fries.... without his world famous Coney Island Hot Dog  with their super chili and relish, which they did fix us a sample of and yelp... it is awesome too.  We will be back!

Sid's dad started and owned the place before he did. I think there are about 12 stools and 4 tables and the grill was NEVER empty while we were there and he took time to learn our names, shake our hands, and then do it again calling us by name when we left! We felt like rock stars, haha...  never happens in our town of Stillwater. Customers in most eating places in Stillwater are an inconvenience to the staff and the owner or manager hardly ever takes time to do more than say hi and ask if all is ok... Sid took time to learn our names in amongst a packed house and never stopping his fixing of his famous burgers... now that is a business owner who cares about what he does and how he does it, not just the dollars ....

Thank you Sid!

Jake Moffat - El Reno OK Vintage Guitars Summer Concert Series - Last night... after a nice drive down, onion burgers at Sid's Burgers (Man Vs. Food on travel channel night before), a nice show... and trip home... pooped! haha
