What a glorious day this will be .... Dad's favorite time outside was after a rain. Being a farmer, he loved it and never complained about Toooooo much of it. I guess maybe we now have a direct line to heaven... cuz I mentioned to Ann how wonderful it would be if it rained a bit the night before to clean up things, and make the day brighter, the sky more clear.. and the temps a bit cooler, and what do you know.. it rained....... a bit, and the rest has happened..
This day will be tough for the family, but we need to remember, Dad was saved, and lived his beliefs ... not telling people how to live but living it... and showing them how, and he was a man of great character!! To me, character is what you do when handling things and NO one is watching... what helped dad in those times was his deep abiding faith that one is NEVER alone here, if you truly believe in Jesus Christ as your saviour, you realize that every step of the way, He is with you and you are never alone, you will live your life to its fullest and in the most correct fashion possible. And Dad was NEVER alone!!
