What a great day

What a wonderful time we had today with some of the Grandkiddos.... Jake and Trisha needed to stay around home since she is due to deliver Isabella Ann in less than 3 weeks... so Ann and I held our usual family Easter Dinner and Jake and Trisha came and Heather and Paul and Andrew Paul and Madison Ann over and we had a wonderful time hunting eggs... heard there was about 20.00 in change that each one found in the eggs and a "real Gold Dollar" from Grandpa and Grandma for each. Lots of eggs.. Heather made her world famous bread, Trisha made the 'tators' and we had Blankinship ham... and all the trimmings.. was a wonderful time. Later in the day, Jonathan called to wish us a Happy Easter and said they had been hunting eggs and were then playing in the park, before heading home to get back to the grind. Great to hear from him, too, since neither he nor his family could be with us this Easter. (Andrew still talks about the most fun Easter he has had in his life.. When he and Uncle Jonathan were throwing the hard boiled eggs against our dumpster.... ) Phillip, Tammy and Austyn stopped by on their way home from Cousin Doris's big Easter Family gathering at Lexington... Austyn had a nice big egg he won hunting eggs today... I did hear Jonathan is coming up to see us next Saturday too.. how cool is that...
My Uncle Calvin is in hospital in OKC and doing better, just some complications due to health issues, and Great Grandma and Marilyn went to see him yesterday and had lunch with Aunt Agnes while Uncle Calvin ate.
Mike called and I guess he and David are heading to Florida for my neice's wedding ... Ann is heading to New Jersey on Tuesday and Wednesday and then I think she is taking another business trip with Heather to South Carolina shortly too..
Guess that leaves me home alone... hummmmmmmmmm hahahaha..... oh well, got a lot more cleaning up to do around the place.. and now I have a garden to tend too.. first time in 2o years... or so...
been walking again... getting in bout four miles a day... feeling good and being envious of Jake who is now at 220 lbs and losing more and looking GREAT!!! We are all excited for Jake and Trisha... and the impending 6th grand child... bubbling would be more appropriate, haha...

Hope your Easter was as wonderful as ours. Time with our family is the most precious time Ann and I have. We are very thankful for every minute of it. Nothing is more important than the time we have together. And one thing is for sure, there will be one less
Easter together...
What a wonderful family we have and how it is growing and how Ann and I are blessed!!
