If I had not been there, I would never have believed it…
There were about 4 to 6 folks up front at Okeene most of the afternoon and night… as Jake got ready to play the front filled and it was 10 rows deep when he started… I was in tears… I would never have believed it ...
I WAS BLOWN AWAY…. AND THE BOY DID AWESOME!!! HE WAS ON FIRE~~~!!!
Ann and I did not stay for Boland. I guess I was so excited about Jake going to play all night that I actually did not notice how tired I was getting and hot.. and I just melted after he played.. and the crowd went wild when he played, and this even blew me away, how many were singing along with him… wow…
All for now.. couldn’t sleep, I am so happy, so just wanted to share!!! Jake has taken the trip full circle and his healing is complete, he is now officially a rock star!!!
But, as you might imagine... all my kiddos and their spouses.... and kiddos... are rock stars too me... I am so very proud of my family...! No one in the world is as lucky as Ann and I are to have the best of the best... We may not have any money, and we may not have much sense... but we have the most important thing in the world, the most awesome family in the world! And right behind our immediate family is our Oklahoma/Texas music extended family.... They too are some GREAT folks! We are proud to know them all and be part of that awesome music scene, too...!
