Got to see some longtime dear friends at lunch yesterday... Lawrence and Sharon Robinson... they are doing great, have a new mini, Morgan is doing great overseas and is fine tuning his artistic skills in furniture making and design... Lawrence said he sent him a computer in hopes of keeping up.. but Morgan does not like them and will not use them.. now there is a change... haha... Michael is doing great, and L. has a new truck too.. lots of changes... It was a blessing to see them...
and then... last evening ... I was brought up to date on Greg Pearce's little boy... he has a blood disorder that can lead to bleeding... there are very few people with this rare blood problem and to stop the bleeding, for instance about a day and half ago, he stubbed his big toe playing... bear foot in the yard... as most kiddos are these days.. and it swelled up with internal bleeding and they took him to the doctor and was given one treatment of "factor", to make blood thicker and stop bleeding Monday night... Tuesday Morning Kim took him with her to her work in Ponca and it was a bit worse so she took him to PC emergency room where they gave him another unit of factor... and it still was swelling.. so she took him to Tulsa.. most places don't keep the "factor" on hand... to children's hospital there... and they gave him two 2 units more.. this is a total cost of 800 dollars a unit so 3200 dollars total just for the special shots of factor... and they came in last evening to Perkins where they live...
and we think we have problems... imagine a two/three year old boy not being able to be a boy!!
so anyho... life goes on..
