Indie Feature Film from Tulsa Lands World Premiere
The Rock ‘n’ Roll Dreams of Duncan Christopher is set to have its world premiere in Los Angeles at the 2010 Method Fest on March 27. The film chronicles the life of Duncan Christopher, the awkward son of a rock star who works through the suicide of his father in the brutal underground world of Oklahoma karaoke.
Hearth Studios, a collective of artists and social entrepreneurs whose mission is to create a new world now for a better tomorrow, is proud to present its first feature film, The Rock ‘n’ Roll Dreams of Duncan Christopher, co-produced with Tandem Arts, a Hollywood-based production company. Hearth Studios worked to make The Rock ‘n’ Roll Dreams of Duncan Christopher a sustainable, eco-friendly production by securing bio-diesel fuel for generators, recycling on set, and offsetting the entire production to be carbon neutral. The community was also involved as the film employed Oklahoma actors, writers, producers, musicians, and crew.
Now in its 12th year, the Method Fest is an annual festival dedicated to supporting the work of those who produce, make and work in independent film. The festival provides educational opportunities in independent filmmaking and is the only festival whose primary focus is on the unique craft of acting. Details on the film’s premiere are as follows:

I waited till early morning and stuck my head out in the tree in the middle of the photo... you will see why... he had 'treed' a big ole coon.. who sat there and watched me and as I got close, he turned and is getting ready to shiney down the tree... click on photo to enlarge and look and see the ring tailed coon...

and he said in all his many years he had heard about 'pickup hood deals', but never had participated in one.. haha... we actually signed a note on the hood of his truck with Kim Pearce serving as Notary Public. It was an odd thing and happened in an odd way, but this shows you Payne County Bank, Perkins, OK is out to serve their customers... big time!!! He did not have to do this at all, but his going out of the way like this, this day in time, is unbelievable... !!! Now, if he'd just pay it off.. hahahaha.....
