Sugar had time to find a few turtles this am... but she was pooped when we got back to home cause we did not stop and shot many pics.. haha.... but she did find time to bring her catch to me for me to take a pic of... 

I had to walk early this am, as I had a Dr. Appointment at 7:45am, so I was almost back to home when the sun was coming up... not a cloud in the sky.... but a bird was soaring to new heights watching the sunrise too....

This is my "office"... just in case you guys think I really don't work... haha... enjoy the day...  

all was quite on the prairie... and the moon kept watch... one eye open... maybe wondering why....

and then I looked west and the heavens seemed to be boiling over... was it rage against the drought... or was it joy for the new growth that was going to happen below the clouds... whatever... it was another great view... and Jake was out there somewhere below it....  

The heavens were really showing off this am... the promise of a new day, against the kept promise of days past...  

It's like the sky, heaven is crying for the thistle... for it's loss of life... this was really beautiful this am.... 

Thistles have amazed me this spring... I can not believe something as bad as thistles can be so beautiful... just study this for a bit.. and see the beauty... the colors the uniformity.. the lines... amazing... 

HAHA.... love is calling.... poor ole Scoobie wants to get into Louise's pen and "play" with her... but we don't really want puppies... but posted this to show how strong love is.. haha.. 

Looks like the mountains of Colorado in the evening shade.... God has been gracious in extending his beauty the last few mornings... It is just truly amazing to the eye... I wish I knew how to capture it with the camera.... can not even come close!

One of Oklahoma's many talent artists... Carter Sampson was in our studio two weeks ago cutting a 4 track demo for in house use. She is one awesome singer/songwriter and is really talented. We would like to sign her to our label..but... haha... anyway.. keep watching for her.. she rocks! One of her songs she cut with her band is "Payne County Line", how cool is that!! haha.. 

A red tail hawk feather... wonder if the sissortails pulled it out.. haha.. 

What about me, this yellow flower was calling out.. so you know me.. had to take a pic.. and then the camera battery ran down... what a perfect ending... enjoy the day!

And then the show began.. it was awesome.. this half hour was AMAZING! It truly took my breath away... and made the eyes tear up.. how awesome the view.. the majesty of all... wow.... 

It kind'a looked like God was lining up his ducks this am.. getting everyone on the same page with a big skylight to get our attention... 

I was thinkin' of ole Jake... and wondered if he was out on the rig welding this am... looked west and this is the view I got... wow... 

What a beautiful reflection on the pond this am.. no wind, but the best was yet to come... 

You have to look but this is the view from my morning walk... two lightning strikes at once and in the view of each is a set of high line poles...  

Look who came to see Grandpa and Grandma last night.. yelp, Mr. Austyn Lee Moffat with his mom and dad and his new pet... I think it's a Westie raised by Kim Payne. Kim used to be a customer of ours at the Feed Barn and Jake worked a little while for her in her kennel. The new puppy's name is .... guess that will have to be next time, ole Grandpa's mind only remember half of it.. sorry Austyn..! 

Tough Records Recording Artist Nick Gibson is in our Flatland Studio recording his new CD, yet to be named. It rocks! It will do very well and I predict in writing that several of the songs on the album will be on radio by November...
