Storm update...

Just wanted to let everyone know I visited with Uncle Ivan today about storm last night.
When Ann and I saw on tv the storms developing near El Reno, we called Uncle Ivan and Aunt Freda to let them know and Aunt Freda said they were in hall way hunkered down. Well, little did I know there was a NEW airport in El Reno!! I knew the old one was west of their home and thought the storm was headed right for their home.. needless to say, I was wrong.. and BOY was I glad!! I kept thinking we would head there when the storm blew out of town.. but we did not have to.
Uncle Ivan called this am and we talked for a bit before the home health folks came to see about getting him a lift chair, but I wanted to share with you that they are ok. Little to no damage from the storm. No hail either, well, just a bit he said and it was small in size, unlike downtown. He reported rest of the family ok too. All knew and were taking precautions when the storm approached.
Will share more as I learn...
Stillwater received some hail and a bit of rain, but we did not have any damage from the storm. got almost a quarter inch of rain in about 5 seconds.. it seemed.. haha... but everyone is ok.
Heather is headed off to a National Show for her work tomorrow through Sunday and Ann and I will help a bit with the kiddos... Grandma Ann is fired up and excited about helping.
I have been walking 6.25 miles a day for last 20 days straight. I took today off, and am enjoying NOT walking today. My knee is really bothering me, but such is life!
Randi is home from the hospital and we think doing ok as we write this. We have not been told differently. Jake called last evening and all is well in Woodward with him too. Just working long hours and is really physically tired in the evenings. But he loves it and it loves him. He is learning just how big Bronco Drilling is... they are listed on NYSE. The big rig he has been reworking was supposed to move to location in Pandhandle of OK this past Saturday, but it will in fact move out today or tomorrow.
Phil is starting a new chapter in his life. He is to become the new relief mail carrier for route 2 in Perkins. This is the route that Great Grandma Moffat lives on. He will drive on Saturdays, and as needed during the week. He is also doing a brick project for a neighbor who is building a new home.
Jon is about thru with his first semester of "returning to college". He is pooped. He also is now the Manager of Digital Design and Development for the Chickasaw Nation. A big step up from the ole boy who was hired on to work on websites for the Nation. If you don't know much about the Chickasaw Nation, there are lots of things being written about them lately. They are one of the most honored tribes, and most respected in the USA! We are proud he is working with such a great and honored tribe. They put God and family first in all they do.
Ann and I are remodeling the outside of our home, a much needed thing after building it in 1982. This has been interesting.. haha to say the least.
More later.. love to all... Stan
