Last Thursday, Uncle Ivan and Aunt Freda and Ann and I and Jake and Trisha met in OKC at the Hometown Buffet to eat lunch... and visit. We had a great time, enjoying the great food and wonderful company, and then it was time to head home. We had not paid much attention to the weather, other than it was sprinkling when we arrived and when we left about 3:15pm... and headed home. Upon arriving home, we turned on the TV and heard about the tornado that happened just west of where we were... so we called Uncle Ivan and Aunt Freda said they drove thru some really hard rain but made it home ok.. well, now we know they actually drove thru the early part of the tornado that happened at 4:10pm.
I wonder, maybe next year, we should not plan a birthday celebration... haha.. as it snowed and we had an ice storm in Feb. and then when we did get together, there was a tornado... haha... Mother Nature is trying to tell us something I think.. haha..
ok... other than that.. we had a nice weekend, Ann put out some flowers and cherry tomato's... and mowed the yard, and it looks nice... Got to keep Grandma busy ya know.. haha.. later.. enjoy the day...
